Kitchen Ventilation Projects Ltd (KVP Ltd) the latest acquisition to the Gould Group

We are pleased to announce the latest addition of KVP Ltd to the Gould Group, which will compliment WML Ltd across the commercial sector.

Keith Waldron will be leading the KVP Ltd team supported by our Contracts Manager Gordon Sherrin and his project team led by Projects Engineer Rhys Dear.

This acquisition further establishes the ability for the Gould Group to provide a complete service to our clients across all aspects of Commercial Ventilation and Climate Control.

KVP Ltd will provide a full design, manufacture and installation service to the commercial and retail sector, covering all aspects of Kitchen Ventilation, Fire Suppression and Heating & Cooling systems.

KVP Ltd will be able to work in conjunction with its Group Partners WML Ltd and IFL, to interact with our client base to provide an overall Fabrication, Ductwork and Kitchen Ventilation support service.

Based on our consolidation as the leading ductwork contractor in our region and in line with our continued diversification, we are planning a Group recruitment strategy to add trainees and additional staff to all companies in Group.

Recruitment will be in line with our employment policy and will also create the continuation of our succession management programme, which will contribute to our staffing structures long term future.

With our current management teams combined experience spanning over 200 years in the ductwork industry, we have the perfect opportunity to pass on their vast experience over all aspects of the Commercial, Contracting and CAD departments of the businesses.

We are pleased to announce that our contracts director Keith Waldron has re joined the Ductwork Groups Technical Sub Committee.

Keith previously served on the Draughting Panel for DW144 and chaired the Draughting Panel for DW172 – Kitchen Ventilation Systems.

Keiths return will not only prove an excellent addition to their current panel, but will also enable WML Ltd to keep totally up to date with all current requirements and up dates as laid out in DW 144.

Keith is also the Contracts Director for our latest Group acquisition, Kitchen Ventilation Projects Ltd. Supported by the KVP Ltd project team, Keiths experience and reputation will assist in the further diversification of our services to provide a complete turn key design manufacture and installation service to all aspects of the ventilation sector.

Our new extension to our office and production headquarters has introduced an additional 1000 sq ft of high specification office space, along with an additional 2000 sq ft of production and storage capacity.

Current office space now offers 3,200 sq ft, supported by our dual production space of approximately 13,500 sq ft.

The offices have been fitted out with the latest computer and data wiring systems, which are integrated directly to our dual plasma and coil line manufacturing facility via our 3D CAD CAM software.

The production facility is now equipped with two plasma and coil line systems, supported by the latest ductwork manufacturing machinery. Latest acquisition to our workshops are a laser controlled soft ware integrated Brake Press along with a Hydraform Power Flanger for more heavy duty steel fabrications.

This space enables the recruitment programme to commence and will create the required space for us to continue our expansion programme through 2008 and beyond.

The additional benefits of the extension will further enhance the value of our freehold headquarters as shown in our holding company Gould Holdings Ltds balance sheet for 2007.
