Health & Safety Policy
- We are pleased to say that our H&S track record is at present 100%, something that we are continually aiming to retain for the long term future.
- Although we strive to achieve maximum product performance for our clients, this is in line with all safe working practices and procedures that have at present proved so successful. We have to date delivered all completed project objectives to our current clients, with out compromising H&S requirements. This is mainly due to the conscious efforts of our higher level management to maintain the internal systems as highlighted in our H&S Policy.These systems are passed on to our workshop and site operatives who are fully briefed on all elements of our H&S requirements.We also have our external H&S consultants who undertake regular assessments of our works and site procedures, with a view to constantly exploring opportunities to introduce additional operations to ensure safety is upheld in all aspects of the business.We are happy to forward appraisals from our current client base, confirming our performance against all aspects of H&S on passed and present contracts.Our in house QA procedures have been created and maintained by our contracts director who is a former member of the HVCA draughting panel for DW144. and also chairman of the DW172 draughting panel.He was also involved in securing the first ISO registered ductwork contractor back in 1980, and continues to have active control of all of our in house QA and H&S procedures.

- Our staff employment policy is to encourage the progression of our current vastly experienced project management staff. This is allied to the introduction of trainees in the CAD and project management sections of the business.
- We also have a number of our workshop operatives gaining further qualifications; this will in turn enhance our product range and production capacity.
- All the above will introduce the progression and succession management that will be required to consolidate our current expansion programme, and in turn secure the long term future of WML.
Partnering Strategy
- WML is looking to expand and progress its current partnering opportunities through 2007 and in to 2008. This is an important part of our continued expansion process and assists in building open book relationships with a growing number of our client base.
- We believe that by encouraging where possible our partnering strategy, we can work with our clients to provide engineering and design solutions prior to the construction process. This process will help achieve maximum construction efficiency along with exploring potential value engineering opportunities.
- With in the potential partnering sector, we work with our clients through all aspects of the design manufacture and installation process, with the facility to control all financial aspects of the contract on an internal open book auditing basis.
- Based on open book negotiation, the facility to secure contracts on this basis avoids the normally more time consuming competitive tendering process applied for conventional contracts. Potential engineering solutions can be assessed and agreed prior to submission of the final tender bid, therefore ensuring maximum financial effectiveness with out compromising system integrity.
- The facility to identify all strategic opportunities to gain the most cost effective and efficient end product solution will encourage our clients to utilise our partnering strategy with in a wider spectrum of the commercial sector.
- With the capacity to offer additional group services including attenuation, sheet and steel fabrication, acoustic enclosures and kitchen canopy systems, we can provide a complete turn key service for all aspects of the air movement package.

- We also have the added security of our group status that creates commercial and financial stability. It enables us to explore opportunities to invest in all the latest market software and machinery solutions that may enhance our current production capacities.
- With our associated manufacturing company IFL, we are also able to offer more than just a ductwork package. We can also provide options for Attenuation, Acoustic Enclosures, Kitchen Canopy Systems, and general Sheet Steel Fabrications.
